As long as Henrietta Rowlatt keeps making damn fine radio and playing cool tunes by ace artists, we’ll keep pointing people in the right direction. Just uploaded on to her BIRSt page are sessions by two of Bournemouth’s finest ‘alt’ types – Hardsparrow and The Powdered Cows. Very enjoyable and highly recommended listening.

There’s very little more to say, other than The Powdered Cows long player is currently on heavy rotation here. Expect words on its content in the coming week or two. Oh, and a plug for Henrie’s fine ensemble Animal Talent Show, who have a number of upcoming gigs. Firstly Fairplay’s Introjuicer at The Cellar Bar this Thursday, followed by a gig with Solid Air at The Winchester on Monday 26 July. August sees the band play at the Oxjam (Wig-On Casino) Stage at the Endorse it in Dorset Festival, then an Oxjam fundraiser with bh one Live at The Winchester on Thursday 12 August.
