‘Fazell’s Garden’ is the new single by Bournemouth based band Kinnie The Explorer. The single displays a band that have delved further into their minds, creating a low-fi psychedelic experience. Opening with a quiet ominous guitar tone, it then floats through a trippy melody. With gentle pick ups and come downs, formed by the lyrics “Silent soul you seem like you’re getting me wrong sometimes, you seem like getting your eye” it is smooth in texture and enables accessible listening.

As the underlining tension builds up it unfolds into a momentous, mind altering sequence of overflowing sound, brought to a height with the repetitious strain of “You say you tried everything, I’m trying not to think of them, lights are only red and white, the only rights I found are crumbling”. Closing with that eerie long lasting note, the listener is left drifting away with that ambiguous wonder.
