Sweetpeach Studio Sessions
The concept: one band - one studio - one artist - one take - one session
Every month we'll take a band into Sweetpeach Studios and invite a local artist along. We'll record it, film it, let the artist loose and see what comes out at the end. The results of all this industry and creativity can be found below. Any bands or artists interested in using Sweetpeach Studios for their recording needs, contact Alfie - tel.07863359124.
In session this month - The Sables
Since coming into our lives at the beginning of 2008 as a delicately heavy and beautiful boy/girl duo, The Sables have grown, shed their skin, and re-emerged in their current guise – a five-piece multicoloured Velvety pop combo. At the last count ten musicians have weaved their way in and out of family Sables, and whilst the initial attraction was to the ample charms of South Southern Angel, we are currently unable to resist being won over for a second time.
Whatever the band’s make-up, it appears main Sable creator, Chris Faith, has one quite obvious talent – to write beautiful pop songs. Whether it’s acoustic or electric, delicate or heavy, his songs slowly sink into your psyche, his feel for vibe and mood reverberating wonderfully through every second of every song.

do not open… that you know you just got to open, looking beyond things.

Title from a 1977 Peter Weir film – worth checking…
